基本上操作OK, 但道路意識一般. 因為一個星期學一次, 其實仲唔係好熟. 下個禮拜一就要考路試, 試場係 Lougheed. 各位可以分享下點樣可以發揮好d?
由其多車轉 lane 就會亂. 仲有0係stop sign 前洗唔洗停三秒? C fu 話唔洗, 總之停定, 兩邊無車就可以行.
比d 意見啦.

practice practice and practice.
Ask your parents or friends to practice with you.

On the exam, always be safe. Stop for 3 more sec, they wont deduct points from you. On the other hand, one dangerous action will kill you.

我琴日都o岩o岩搵我師傅補鐘o黎，因為再過兩個禮拜我就考class 5
o岩o岩好refresh返好多考試要注意o既o野
-stop sign要o係佢條線前complete stop
-yellow light時要知道幾時去得，幾時唔好去
-red light轉右前要complete stop，停定後roll forward少少睇睇有無車，去得就比油
-考官會問叫你停低問你周圍o既safety hazard (行人？公園？車？driveway？hidden street？)
-每過intersection都左右望
-轉左轉右前都要shoulder check
-小心轉lane時唔好踩solid line，我考class 7時有唔小心踩到，不過好彩只係一次，無影響個result
-intersection等轉左時唔好將架車扭左，好易比人撞，考官當時都有同我講返
我o個次就一次pass啦~之後師傅同我講返原來考我o個個係比較難o既考官添，所以考試時都只係好似平時咁做就得

講真我都有o的緊張我個class 5...........因為平時揸車雖然已經日日揸，但始終無人會考完試後都繼續用icbc o個套.........^_^;;;

多謝大家的意見。嘉嘉講的我都做齊, 而且我做shoulder check 幅度都幾大, 直頭係轉身。
我主要錯0係
-Speeding (跟住前車就好易到60), 我需要隔幾秒就要望下錶版
-落雨多車轉lane, 試過俾c fu hold 住個wheel, 話唔應該出
-入錯線, 應該貼住黃線行
-睇唔到30 max 個牌
以上幾點我特別留意
還有一般 parking 係行幾多? 因為太慢都會扣分, 我行20 左右

你問一問你師傅shoulder check幅度咁大會唔會比人扣分喎，因為都可以做成危險

speeding依個問題我都有........我都係要不時望住錶版
轉lane o既話，如果後面有車o黎緊我一般會o係個side mirror最少見到佢成架車我先會出，通常咁樣都夠哂位
30max個牌？你指入school zone或公園？

parking我其實一向都無留意行幾多
因為不時都有對頭車經過或出入，有行人，仲要搵位
所以都唔會行得快，我估10幾20已經ok

if the instructor asks you to park on uphill/downhill, make sure
1. the wheels are turned towards the curb before shifting to park.
2. make sure the wheels are turned away from the curb before leaving the parking spot.

if you passed the test, great, but keep exercising road sense.

oh! 無錯，差o的唔記得咗依條問題
記得除咗uphill有curb要扭左外，其餘3個situation都係扭右先好泊低o架車

仲有如果轉右, 最埋條lane 係巴士線, 我係唔係應該直入巴士線左邊條線? 呢個問題C fu 話唔洗入巴士線, 但本書就話要照入巴士線, 然後0係 broken line 到出返黎。我想搞清楚呢個問題, 因為入錯線好似即肥。

Pass 左, 而且張分紙幾乎無野寫。其實係有D 彩數, 一來朝早無乜車, 二來個 examiner 好人。
最後個 reverse parking 霸住兩個位, parking 需要多練習。

after 12 years of road driving. i still do all of those regularly.
Still driving 30kmph in school zone

I think you just have to set used to doing those regularly

many people still do that..don't mock them
and no.. we still drive like a real driver... unlike some dXuchebXgs.


PS. the only thing i don't follow is the 50kmph.. but i do 60

what are you going to do with your car?
work? or leisure?
二手車 (and old car) requires more maintenance and more frequently .than a new car..

$8000 car is usually well driven... so.. it will require more maintenance

I've been spending no money on my shopping cart(s) no gas no insurance
One time I even almost mistaken somebody's cart as mine cause they were both Safeway's and we had the same amount of cans and bottles in them

Budget ＄8000，當你連稅，以日本車來講嘅話，大約可以從 private sale 買到 04-05、行咗 80k-120k 嘅 Civic, Corolla（Protege 嘅話就會略略平少少）。美國車就 Focus都幾好，05-07、行咗 70k-100k 應該都唔太難揾。

無意外嘅車唔係無，但係就好似廿幾歲仔仲想搵個處子女朋友一樣咁囉。而有少少 fender bender 嘅話，其實亦唔係乜野問題。最緊要係睇吓炒咗啲咩、整過啲咩、同整得好唔好。

但你千其唔好忘記，＄8000只係你買車嘅錢。燕梳響大溫最少都要 $800-$900（全保嘅話，＄1300-＄1400就應該點都走唔甩），而買二手車嘅話，除非你真係淨係打算揸一年半載就放，如果唔係 maintenance 條數點都要 ＄500 至過千不等。特別係高里數一啲嘅車，timing belt、水泵、火嘴基本上都要換。再換吓迫力油、波箱油、風油呔油，又或者就來要換 brake、換呔之類，咁左執少少、右執少少，架車條數又分分鐘洗多＄2000零。

what I meant was I don't do something like a complete stop at stop sign usually

yeah it's hard to go at 50......I do at least 60

Honda Fit 其實好唔可, 06, 07 年車都係9k-10k, 呢個價錢是否合理(價錢偏低)?
當然 $8000 只係負責淨車價, 我都準備左筆錢係負責 insurance。
我都想買新車, 但話晒係新牌仔, 所以想買架二手車操熟D 先。都係諗住2年內放, 所以希望盡量唔需要再花錢放落部車到。即係低哩數車係首選? 但幾多哩數之內先可以接受?

1st gen Honda Fit is a good car, but I think 07 is the first model year in Canada. The $9k - $10k figure by itself is a little meaningless because trim level, mileage and condition of the car needs to be taken into account as well. You can find out the dealer trade-in value of cars from:

The thing with Honda engines is that they are generally very well built. As long as proper regular maintenance has been performed, I really wouldn't worry about the mileage on the car at all. They can easily keep chugging along until at least the 250k km mark, if not 300k. On the other hand, Hondas don't generally have the most reliable automatic transmission, and their auto trannies will tend to start slipping and die long before the engine gives up.  The Fit has a timing chain instead of a belt, so you wouldn't have to worry about changing it out (unless it stretches too much).

Personally, I'm big on keeping up with preventive maintenance, and I would very much prefer to go with a car where the owner has kept full service record (ie. paper service reports from dealership, owner's own records, etc.). That way, I'll know the full service history of the car, and can better decide what kind of preventive maintenance services are needed.

The thing is, manufacturer's recommended service schedule is only a guideline, so it may or may not be applicable to the car's actual usage. (eg. If you do a lot of short trips, the manufacturer's recommended 8000km OCI is not good enough.) Also, certain maintenance items are either listed with too long an interval, or is not listed in the service schedule at all even though they are absolutely mandatory. (eg. Brake fluid replacement is not listed at all in some service schedules, or is listed to have a replacement interval of 3 years -- a better recommendation is at least once every 2 years, or better still, when you start noticing the brakes are getting mushy before the 2 year period).

Because of Honda's typical automatic transmission reliability, I would at least do an ATF change on the car unless one has been done recently. Other fluid changes might also be necessary.

When you keep the car in good shape, it'll not only give up a better drive. When the time comes to sell it, you'd also have a much easier time finding an interested buyer because the car will just drive right.

in fact i have been trying to make compete stops with no "recoil"(the stopping shake)
