Mystery killing on Kamloops school basketball court
Visitor from Metro Vancouver violently attacked

0 KAMLOOPS (NEWS1130) - One moment they were just playing some hoops and having fun. A few minutes later, a man is down on the ground bleeding, with paramedics trying to save his life.
A mysterious attack on a basketball court at Stuart Wood elementary school in Kamloops Tuesday afternoon has left a man dead. He was in his mid-twenties and from Metro Vancouver.
RCMP Staff Sergeant Grant Learned says at this point, there are no suspects and no solid witnessess. "Other than the first people at the scene after this happened: the paramedics, the fire department people. We will have to speak with them. The only person that we know of in the area was this companion."
Learned is hoping someone at some neighbouring businessess may have seen what happened. He says the victim's friend, who may even be a relative, was off using the bathroom when the violent attack happened. Learned could not confirm the man had been stabbed.
