$60 支票回贈係由Great Canadian Rebates提供(需成功申請方可獲得回贈)，若於申請後兩個月獲支票。至於使用信用卡購物的回贈則由MBNA提供(每累積到$50即可獲支票)

- MBNA係Bank of America
- 首半年嘅5%及之後嘅3%入油rebate適用於任何油站
- 至於grocery shopping，舉我所知，於Superstore購物只可獲1%回贈(相信因為Superstore有專屬信用卡)，其他超市，例如誠信超市，都有5%(首半年)及3%回贈(半年後)
- 有關Payment問題，無可否認，由於溫哥華無MBNA分行，信用卡用戶唔可以到分行直接付賬。但係你亦可於自己的銀行戶口付賬，並視乎你戶口的細則嚟計算是否需要交手續費。就以本人為例，我用President Choice's Financial無月費戶口，每個月於網上銀行轉賬繳付月結單，非常簡單，同時無手續費，亦定期收到MBNA的回贈支票。

I am using the SMART CASH for a few months now (applied online thru mbna.ca) Actually, a few of my friends have it too.
This card has been widely discussed on redflagdeal.com
MBNA has been dong business in Canada for a few years now.
Making payment is not an issue. i bank with RBC and i just need to register my MBNA account as a payee and pay regularly just like hydro bill, etc.

ALSO...i just got my first $50 rebate in my mail...so no problem and i am happy.

FYI~ I got my MBNA Card back in my UBC era.... and MBNA loves to call you at least 1 time a day..every day... to promote something else.. I have told them to remove my # from their call list...and they never listened....so... I call MBNA and told them that I want to cancel the card..and they asked why.. I told them that they are super duper annoying.. the agent said "did u ask them to remove ur #?", I replied "yes..every single time they called".. the agent was not in a friendly voice and said "you know.. it takes about 3 months to have your # remove.. have u waited for 3 months yet?" i was like..wtf.. i said no matter what.. I WANT TO CANCEL my card NOW! The agent.. it's ur choice.. we will send u a confirmation letter by mail later =__=" aren't they lovely??

P.S. I had this stupid card for 5 yrs...I HATE MBNA!!

So, besides MBNA call your phone number for promotions. Any other things about this MBNA card that bothers you?

As of 2011 March, did you successfully cancel the MBNA card? Which card you using now or which card you would recommend other people to use?

Do you know if MBNA accumulates your purchasing amounts non-stop? Or they only count from Jan 1st to dec 31st (meaning Jan1st will start over from $0 again)?

MBNA already cancelled...other than phone calls.. their card is ok..sometimes they offer 1.9% or 0.9% cash advance~ if u need immediate cash, it is a good option~
I am using President Choice for Mastercard and TD First Class Travel for Visa..they acculumate points quite fast and I'm quite happy about it~~

it is non-stop. the system will automatically send u a chq of $50 whenever u reach that mark.

I have MBNA Premier Cashback for years now, the problem is that they keep calling me to buy insurance and promo packages and things like that once a few months. I called them and had them remove me from the list and it's all quiet now.

MBNA is reasonable, and payment wise is just doing another bill payment online. Unless you are 60 yrs old and not sure how to use a computer/phone, there is no reason to pay the bill in person these days.

Does it mean 首半年 i go Superstore i only 只可獲1%回贈因為Superstore有專屬信用卡?

And i go Safeway/IGA i will get 5% rebate(首半年)及3%回贈(半年後)?

IGA/Safeway就一定係5%(首半年)，但係我自己之前就打過俾MBNA就聽佢地講話Superstore就得1%。不過我見到有LYK 之前post咗一張清單列咗 Superstore係有5%...我自己就真係唔知佢地有無改到例...sorry呀

Those cheques are treated as cash advances, which carries a 19.99% interest that is effective the day the cheque gets cashed. I'm sure they'll still credit the amount to be eligible for rebate ga...

I don't think the cheque will qualify for the rebate since it is treated as cash advance.

Sometimes they have promotion like 0% cheque/balance transfer. At that time, you can use it. But I wouldn't suggest you to use it if you don't fully understand how to play the promotional cheques.
