Hello Kitty主題公園將首次走出日本，並落戶長三角地區，打造新一個國際綜合旅遊度假區。中國首個「 Hello Kitty家園」選址浙江省湖州市安吉縣的安吉，預計今年 7月動工， 2014年開業，與比鄰的上海迪士尼展開正面競爭。

擁有 Hello Kitty商標的日本三麗鷗（ Sanrio）株式會社與浙江銀潤休閒旅遊開發有限公司，已正式簽訂合作協議，在安吉天使樂園度假區共同打造名為 Hello Kitty家園的大型主題公園。該園佔地約 900畝，設施面積約為 9.5萬平方公尺，總投資 2.15億美元（約 16.7億港元），園內將以金、木、水、火、土等五個元素，來建設五個遊樂區，同時包含酒店、餐飲、娛樂等多項設施。

日本三麗鷗公司稱，選擇安吉作為 Hello Kitty的第二故鄉，因為是看中其巨大的旅遊發展潛力和浙江省旅遊業轉型的機遇。
近年，三麗鷗跟隨迪士尼的腳步，設法吸引越見富裕的內地人在遊樂設施和紀念品上增加開銷， Hello Kitty家園將會與同預期於 2014年開業的上海迪士尼樂園互爭長短。

Another way is to create its own Chinese animation characters.

Hong Kong's McDull character is a nice example of local creation. They already have a line of product.

兩條契弟講咁多野都特登避開晒其中一個大要點：上海迪迪尼本來已經足夠打殘香港果個迷你迪迪尼，家陣再加埋浙江個 Hello Kitty樂園，我真係完全想像唔到點解大陸人仲要落來香港玩。

亦即係話，香港迪迪尼死上加死，而特衰政府代香港人蝕俾美帝迪迪尼公司啲錢呢個無底洞，就更加血本無歸，而且仲要繼續一直不停咁蝕落去（但迪迪尼總公司就繼續有 royalty 分）。

當年一早已經話唔好起迪迪尼㗎喇？好喇，家陣咪聽仆蝕到仆街囉？

低能仔，

即使係今時今日都好，大陸客依然係香港迪迪尼嘅一個主要客源。（好似依然係佔4成定6成總客量）。他日佢去上海已經有得玩、有得買，咁仲使乜野落來香港咁麻煩？

而且，迪迪尼賬面確係開始唔使蝕錢，但條真數卻要計埋特衰政府 commit 咗話要美帝迪迪尼總公司出豉油，但特衰政府自己出雞嘅擴建方案。好似你咁淨係識得睇賬面條數lu喎，咪雙手送晒啲錢俾人使囉～

呢啲叫做笨柒呀，柒頭～

China's population is so big that another Disneyland is normal. People who live within 3hrs of highspeed railway travel of Shanghai will go to Shanghai Disneyland.

Those who are within 3 hrs of highspeed railway travel of Hong Kong will go to Hong Kong Disneyland instead. Some of those tourists going to Macau casinos will also go to Hong Kong Disneyland instead.
