7 BOSTON, MA (NEWS1130) - The Stanley Cup Final series is down to a best-of-three, after the Bruins blanked the Canucks 4-0 in Game 4. Tim Thomas blocked 38 pucks in the win and had 78 saves in both games in Boston.

Rich Peverley scored the first and final goal for the B's, while Michael Ryder and Brad Marchand netted the other Boston goals.

Roberto Luongo was yanked after allowing the fourth goal. Luongo made 16 saves. Cory Schneider who was born in nearby Marblehead, Massachusetts mopped up. He stopped nine pucks in his first appearance of the series.

Before dropping both games in Boston, the Canucks won five of eight road games in the playoffs.

The statistics aren't looking good for Vancouver. Alain Vigneault's group has just five goals in four games. The Canucks power play is in a complete funk, going one-for-21 in the series.

The series is tied 2-2, with Game 5 on Friday at Rogers Arena. Game 6 will be back in Boston on Monday.

Same as Game 4/5 in round 1 ..

Well, Lu Lu did bounce back in game 7 ... and took the series ..

The problem now is, series is tied after 4 game ..  vs 3-1  in round 1 ...

Boston is a great team, now they are more used to the speed of Canucks ...  Canucks have to do some major adjustment ....

Well ..  first question is, who will be the goalie in game 5??

Not only that, defenses are totally missing in game 3 and 4... Guards have made several low end mistakes (almost day-dreaming)...

That is why .. can't just blame lu lu ..

He stole game 1 and 2 .. (Canucks didn't play super good)

Canucks so far .. on and off .. they did play few great game in round 1 (and couple bad periods) but they made it ..

Round 2, sort of different story .. but play quite well ..

Round 3, best series for sure....

In the final .. so far, Canucks didn't play their best game .. yet .. but they won game 1 or 2 ..

Of course, game 3/4 Boston rules them!

Well, look at the bright side, it could be a 4-0 or 3-1 Boston Series, 2-2 is actually pretty good, and Canucks still have home game advantage.

They just lost nearly all the battles for the puck along the side boards. Just could not clear the puck out of their side.

They thought they were winning easily after up 2 games.

Against Chicago, it took them 3 games to regain concentration.

Canucks rely heavily on Luongo and he's certainly not in a good mode. Do you feel like they are playing like a champion team?

One game .. barely tied the game in third period, and win in OT  ..

If Canucks was EASILY won game 1 and 2 ..  what is game 3 and 4? Boston won HARDLY?

I didn't say I thought it was easy.
But that's what the players thought. They thought it was easy. So they relaxed and lost their concentration in games 3 and 4.

Same as Hawks rules Canucks in recent history, but they managed to win ..
