I think what US economy is going to experience is Stagflation wihich is even harder to deal with.... The economy is in recession but the cost of living (energy/resource) keep going up. This is the hardest to deal with according to the economist because the solution for each problem is countering each other. I.e. to curb recession by lowering interest rate but to curb inflation, interest rate need to be increased.
