every country was in Australia it seems for them. but wow, pretty crazy. it MIGHT not be completely scripted, but they probably interviewed a lot more ppl and only shows the stupid answers. but the stupid ones are pretty stupid.

This doesn't proof that they stupid, just that they don't know a lot of things that is trivial to their daily life.

Most of us probably do not know that Budapest is the capital of Hungary.

I dont agree with you, notgoddy !!! Most of the questions are common sense or you know the answer if you read the newspaper just once a week. Of course they only show the stupid ppl clips.

TRUE story from me ..

Few yrs ago .. we went to Toronto/ Montreal .. and out of luck, our rental car got FLAT tire in Montreal .. so I called the 1800 number for help .. and somehow .. was connected to US service desk .. ( Well .. no labor in Canada)

So .. we asked for help .. and said "We got a flat tire, and in Montreal, near the airport "

She : " what ? where are you sir "

Me : " Montreal"

She: " Montana ? "

Me : " Montreal "

She " mon what ? there is no such a place, you have to tell me a city or STATE name "

Me : " MONTREAL! in CANADA! WE ARE IN CANADA! we are in CANADA, and I RENT THIS CAR IN CANADA! "

She " Sorry Sir, which State is Canada in? "

Me --> HANG UP!!!

they wrote "North Korea", wtever country down there i fink. the ppl didnt noe where the countries were so they just put the flag or wtever there.

I was in new york in april... and apparently, quite alot of new yorkers think that all canadian speaks french...

then, i told them... we don't actually speak french.. we speak Canadian... and they actually believe it...

yesterday at lunch time me & my hubby was talking about this clip...

hubby told me that the part where the host ask to think of a country starting with letter "U"...he really did think of United States. so i told him: "other than United States... howcome nobody thought of Ukraine?" and my hubby said: "mud Ukraine is a country lei ga meh?"

so at dinner time.... we were having jap dinner out with my lai-lai too. somehow we were talking about eating food as a whole with bones (cus i was saying i don't eat roasted smelt cus i dunt like eating the whole thing: head + bones...everything). so my hubby said to me: "then why do you squid robata or octapus?"

& i told him, there's bone/cartilage inside squid/octapus.... & he said: "oh.... really?!?!! i really thought squids are just soft tissue/meat & have no bones...i would never know until you told me just now."

maybe my hubby is NOT stupid too

i just received this on facebook and along with this clip was another clip of a 2-3 year old that can point out almost ever country.
