my friend is lending me her costco card
I know for sure I can't use credit card

but can I pay with debit?

Sorry to say that, the card has your friend's pic so you can't even buy anything with it....

I tried to use my Dad's card even we are living together and the fxxking cashier said I can't use my Dad's card.

and one time I went with my Dad and my Dad presented the card to the cashier, then I try to pay. The cashier stopped me and ask if I am a Costco member. I say no and they don't allow me to even pay for the stuff. Therefore, my Dad helped me to pay.....

So, only the Card holder can buy and pay at Costco....

just ask your friend to buy you a gift card for you. Then you could go and use it by yourself. Only bad thing when using the gift card is that you can't enjoy those discount on the flyer since they are for members only.

Just have your friend buy you a Costco gift card then you do not need to have a membership card for purchase.

Don't ever, ever, ever use somebody else's membership card. They check the photo on the card every time and may seize it from you if they find you are using somebody's card. And your friend may have trouble getting it back.
Ask your friend to get you a gift card and you can shop any time you like. However, try not to buy something for $500 with a $50 gift card. You may not be allowed to do so. Get a, say, $500 gift card and you can use it more than once.
My hubby and I are Costco members and I don't even let my daughter use my card. I give her a gift card instead and it works all the time !

U can pay cash .. or AE ..

Sometime I use my card, sometime I use mine ...

But .. why don't your friend go with you just in case?

actually it's my friend's friend (also my frd) who wants to go.....

and my friend is busy so she left her card to me and I can go with the other friend......lol

I still haven't gone, frd didn't show up~

Last time I got a $50 gift card for my friend. She went to Costco with it and her purchase came to over $100. The cashier refused to let her pay the other $50 in cash. Ended up she couldn't buy all the things she wanted.

ohhhh, ok that's why.....

cuz I have only been to the one in richmond
and once I was with a frd and he had a membership card
he paid for his stuff then I also paid for my stuff, separately
the cashier didn't say much
