I am trying to sell some stuffs on 淘宝网(chinese version of ebay), but seems like it is only restricted to people in china/hk.

During registration, they ask for your ID, your chinese phone # (local canadian number doesn't work), etc.

you even need to upload a picture of yourself holding the ID.

Anyone has experience selling on 淘宝网?
