never been to the one at 置地 but the one on Alexandra Rd takes reservation for table of 4 or more.

鹿園? I like their no MSG fish soup noodle. Big enough for my hubby and no MSG struggle for myself. (I am mildly allergic to MSG)

Go to 雞蛋仔 la.. They take reservation and have better quality and selection food and free 雞蛋仔

雞蛋仔D野真係唔係好得喔. 未正式開張時真係好正.
一開始送雞蛋仔就..D水準真係越黎越差. 雞蛋仔又唔算好食.
我寧願佢冇送野個陣, 好食好多.
我知道個老細有用心去做, 不過真係要改善吓.

The thing is I don't need selection. When I pick the restaurant to go, I have already done my "selection" - fish soup noodle.

I personally don't like to eat 雞蛋仔

雞蛋仔, I been there once. I truly appreciated to have a honger cafe that the owner really have "heart" ;however, the owner is abit stubborn when it comes to comment.

He was very humble when he heard me discuss about their food with my bf. And ask me is there any suggestion and which restaurant I compare with. I love 雞蛋仔 but his 雞蛋仔 is not up to par ,but he keep insisting this is the REAL HK 雞蛋仔.... and told me others restaurant 雞蛋仔 is not the real stuff..

But as a consumer, I would say the taste of 雞蛋仔 is right but the texture is not right... well, since he insist that's the real stuff... so I say no more lor

Same mall as Alleluia...

I think it was the old spot of another HK Style Cafe that closed years ago. But that one was few of the first that opened in Richmond back then.

Little history: 雞蛋仔 used to be 魚米鄉, until one of the partner bailed so the other partner took over completely. Current 雞蛋仔's owner is the same owner of 北角雞蛋仔 in the night market. He is also the guy that was interviewed multiple times by the local and Chinese press for excellent entrepreneurship.

From the early years I started to eat their food in the night market, I have not have anything better (Aberdeen, Parker Place, Admiralty). Their taste and texture have not changed. Just that the kitchen staff are still new to make it perfect, in fact, night market doesn't even taste as good as they are rushing them out.

Noodle wise, they are trying to compete with 鹿園. But I was told they started to experiment with new flavors and more HK street food. So, I think it's a good place to go for some snack if you are not too hungry.
