Hi Girls...
I wanna buy an embossing Machine? which one is better? lol thx...
For card making? I have cuttlebug. It's good for small card (about 3x5).
But if you like to make 4x6 or square card, should get big shot.
O HaHa... thx =)
so is basically the same thing?
my coworker got me a sizzix texture boutique from Michaels for christmas...on sale for about $24....again, good for small cards only (A2 folders)...and strictly embossing.
if you're willing to invest more, go for a big shot....you can do embossing AND die cuts!
cuttlebug can also do die cut ...but of course...it's also only do A2 card...which is pretty small to me.

thinking around $100 for the machine... n $100 for the acc. ?
thank you guys =)作者: IcySugar 時間: 2012-2-26 01:54
Big shot can die cut 2 rite?
yes, big shot does die cut
check out (or just call) scrapbook warehouse...they sometimes have the big shot on sale as a package...around $150 and includes 1 die and 4 embossing folders....
Thank you =)
HaHa... Yeah... I went 2 scrapbooking ware house n saw the big shot...
Then I change my mind from getting my frd a circut to a big shot... lol
but thinking there cuttle bug... 2 LOL... so was wondering which embossing machine is better lol...
haha....if you're willing to go all-out, i believe there's one (not sure which brand) that does embossing, die cuts, and has coloured cartridges so you can print stuff out in colors!!! i saw it at wal-mart before at around $280....but i'm too cheap hehe think michael's has it too
i think big shot is the most popular one out there...that's what most of my friends use.....

lol... be4 was thinking the $199 ciruct expression...
but... then u can't use it with make the cut or sure cut alot anymore... LOL
SO I m guessing I will go for embossing machine lol? like big shot...
Or u know that is the stuff u call in wal-mart?
lol I m not sure... wat else should I buy 2 go with the big shot?
to be honest, one reason i didn't buy myself any machine is because of the recurrent costs....so my coworker got me the machine for $24....i ended up spending over $50 getting embossing folders
it'd be nice to get some embossing folders, one or two matching nestabilities/spellbinders, some cute die-cuts for b-days to start it'll be appreciated!
have u looked online? i remember a friend telling me that she got the big shot on a website for around $65....but cuz it's an american website she had it shipped to Point Roberts and picked up from there....bit more trouble but cheap nonetheless...
wow... No... the cheapest I can found online is ... $7X... lol..
actually can u ask ur frd which website?
lol... at 1st I was planning 2 buy a pazzles... lol
but since my frds got me a personal circut... lol... then I will hold on 2 the pazzles... lol
... lol now I just cut w/ my laptop + circut... so no more recurrent costs...
since the circut... can't emboss... lol so...
I guess I will see how my frd like the big shot... lol作者: ACooperFan 時間: 2012-2-28 18:23
haha...again, comes back to recurrent costs...not just the $60, but i will want the circles spellbinders, the scalloped circles, the Grand labels ones...and i can't resist the dies.....they will add up!!
But if you are making scrapbooking or cards, those spellbinder die are really handy....much better than punch in most of cases...
I got a die cut machine originally to use for making very small boxes for my miniatures that my clients order. But not sure why, I can't find any die cuts small enough. So I've never used it since I got it.
Anyone knows if a tiny box die cut exists or is there another machine that can make super small boxes?
yeah, I have seen good review about the Cameo too....
If I have the $ ... and space....and the most important thing... TIME to craft...
