Anyone try this 新犀牛屋 yet? Honestly, this is not a good restaurant name if they really want to do business.

Anyone still remember the stories from the old 犀牛屋?

Just did a search and found that old 犀牛屋 was formed by 馮永發 long time ago.

I was living in vancouver as well by the time I heard about this and the times I went to Richmond a year.....about 5-6 times (cos my relatives living there)

I went today as well. Service is ok la...food is average. Will I go back? Probably.
Btw, you can get discount if you have the "gold card" from Top Gun group.

今日試咗, 口味用料一般! 份量還可以. 沒有驚喜, 十分行貨. 沒有特別誘因會另我回去食.

服務與其他唐餐館一般.

但, 當我發現枱面沒有胡椒粉及鹽, 便找個著藍衫, 應該是樓面領導人.. 就有點"驚"喜.

我問 "唔該, 有冇胡椒粉同鹽呢?"  
他竟反問, "係唔係要晒兩樣?" (我預佢答我: "有"/"即到"...)

我冇惗過要決定兩樽定邊樽, 真係有好大分別嗎? 搞到我唔識答.

你講起service, 又記番多啲細節, 今天是三個人去幫襯, 兩人食米線, 一人食西式套餐.
當然是兩位放筷子, 一位放了刀义匙.

上菜位人兄, 帶來一碗羅宋湯, 即開口問, 個湯邊個嫁??
係唔係老唐餐館真係比唔起人工, 啲人service都唔可以醒小小.

呀, 我叫了個冬陰功湯底, 搞錯單, 出了個魚湯, 佢竟然問我, 駛唔駛換??!!!!!!!!

仲有, 點解冇 "飯" 匙, 要重用隻圓大湯匙食飯!!!

I went there with my family few days ago.. here are my comment:
服務唔店. 簡單一句: no sense.  (not non sense.. just no sense).  Table has no salt and pepper.  Server dunno how to take order.  we asked for pepper for 羅宋湯. give us chinese pepper instead of black pepper.   Ask for black pepper for another soup and it takes like 1000 years.  The server doesn't even know what to do with the black pepper and ask "should I do it for you?" we said "Yes please"..  hmmm
and .. I ordered pork chop rice.. and i had NO knife until I asked for it. !! what?  expect me to take the whole fxxking pork chop in my mouth?  Oh.. and they put down some other people dish on our table and asked "is that yours" we said "no"   and keep asking "did you order this?"  we said "NO".  dumb ass.  
and when we paid and left, no one. NO ONE. said "thank you.  bye". etc.  NO ONE! that's the basic thing!!!!  AND everyone 黑口黑臉.

One more thing.. in the radio ad, they claim there is 10% off for openings.  didn't say only "Gold card".   And when we asked for the bill, they didn't give us 10% off.  that's fine.  10% buy us an impression that the restaurant is not honest for what they said.    

湯: 羅宋湯 無問題.  龍蝦湯 難飲.  The chef didn't pan fried the lobster shell when making the soup stock for sure.  It is so blank.

咖哩海鮮: 無問題.

焗豬排飯: 都過得去.

經典焗白汁海鮮飯: 不知所謂既白汁. 厚.粉.杰.  我D私人白汁比佢好百陪.


總括: 野食一般, 格局奇怪, 服務一般差, 黑口黑面, 食得唔開心.

簡單總括: 唔會再幫襯.

Tried it last week in a group of 4. Other than the 'a bit weird' service, nothing impressed us at all. Just a normal hk style cafe.

Tried it last week as well. Food is okay, decor is hideous... and cold drink add $1.25???? that's a bit ridiculous.

The waitress took forever to write down our order. Her writing speed was so slow that we had to pause for at least 10 second after we name a dish.
When my hot milk tea came, there was no spoon with it.
My husband got a hot hotlick and he got a spoon though.

我兩星期前去同你一樣都有驚喜, 食雞翼問個黑衫姐姐攞支茄汁, 佢竟然答話“我地無茄汁個喎”“吓?!無茄汁?”“我地個d係焗飯意粉茄汁黎, 啱唔啱?”“好呀”.........諗住佢唔會真係咁型攞d意粉茄汁黎, 點知嗰位姐姐真係用隻碗仔載住d意粉茄汁比我, 吹脹 @@

Absolutely "no", I've been served with a small dish of 茄汁 before in a HK style cafe, but that's been long long long time ago (Pre 2000)...

食品雖不至於唔入得口,但味道麻麻,侍應好攪笑,食物不放在你面前,求其擺低就行咗去,下下要自己去搬過來,總體來說,衰過以前加洲,唔會再去,價錢適中,如不改善,好快執,location 好,泊車方便
