The American masters are still supporting their Japanese lap dog.
Taiwan ROC is unwilling to cooperate. What do you expect?作者: matt72178 時間: 2012-9-10 15:05
I bet (will donate to my local charity if I lose) that CCP will do squat to the event (keep whining, loser!) while under the shining light of US: Jpn will be able to sign off (and snap up) diu-yu tai in due days.
The Chinese have cooler minds than you. They are not going to act without considering all the consequences, in particular when the Americans are backing the Japanese.
You should instead contribute constructively, by protesting to the Americans.作者: imvitasoy 時間: 2012-9-10 17:35
Amisdt the recent purging of Bo Xilai and the leadership change, it is highly unlikely the CCP can mobilize any troops to the island. Chinese will have to resort to diplomatic negotiations to regain the territory.作者: satil 時間: 2012-9-10 21:44
IMO, Chinese government is boxed into the cornor and there is no other choice if they don't react. Yes, the economy will be hurted. But the political risk is a much bigger concern than anything else. I don't think CCP will risk that.
It looks to me that Japan has also put itself into a no-turning-back situation.
