anyone had that operation before? I m a sport mania but got arthritis over 10 years, I still play so many high impact sports through pain when I can, but now it just hurt so much, my cartilage on my knee are having severe damage.
I feel really frustrate and sad, it really affects my life a lot although I look and walk like normal person that other wont notice but no one knows how much pain I suffer.
Any opinion on that surgery? I research many info. on internet but I still wanna know more from someone's mouth. Thanks作者: blowfish 時間: 2007-12-4 20:55
Some say cycling may help the re-generation of knee cartilage.
Another drug called Synvisc maybe helpful too.
Had fnds who had it done, do they cut away the debris or floating cartilages that causes pain or jamming the joint.
I better to slow down or else u need steel knee joint at a relative younger age.作者: blowfish 時間: 2007-12-4 20:57
Your pain is it caused by inflammation? Have u had any physical therapies done like Laser, electrical acupuncture, acupuncture or www.cellstim.com to slow down the inflam.作者: Traum 時間: 2007-12-4 21:36
I have been using Next Laser by Sedatelec in my office since mid 90s.
Most of the time is very helpful.
Most practitioner should not charge extra with laser anyways.
Some clinics charges you big time for similar equipment and a ig package deal too.作者: nedved 時間: 2007-12-5 01:33
I m 29, so it's really tough to get this trouble disease at my golden age, I was so active and likes sports so much , too bad I had this disease since 13.
SYNVISC looks like just a pain killer, I dont know.......and it may increase swelling on my already swelling and inflamed knee.
I ve tried physio when I was still in HK and here in Burnaby hospital, all of them are useless for me, I think I ve tried laser in bby hospital too, not very useful too.
Blowfish, does laser really work for you? I may try it, thanks.
CellStim looks like Dr. Ho's little machine?? does it really work too?
