Highlights
To become North Vancouver’s premium tourist destination, showcasing local talent
In collaboration with the Lower Lonsdale Business Association
Local singers, dancers and performers will be highlighted
Unique food booths will showcase different ethnic meals and snacks
July 1st Canada day celebrations at the market
Board games will be set up, for people to play chess and backgammon
Estimated attendance will be 5,000 people per night
70 vendor booths, selling LOCAL clothing, art, jewellery, hot food, and more focus on Canadian products, no imported items will be allowed
Strong marketing plan will bring people out from all over
Just off the seabus and transit routes
The Night Market will be an integral part of the revitalization of the Waterfront
North Vancouver Night Market 2013
Dates: May 9th – Oct 10, 2013
Times: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Location: Shipyards Plaza 138 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver

Do you know if this is every day from May to Oct? Richmond Night Market only opens at weekends

Just Thursday and Friday????????? Why not on Saturday?????
It's very hard to make it to North Van after work on a work day... >_<

What is the point having the market opens on Thursday afternoon? I am not interested! Sure I can use the Seabus. But that means I can't purchase too much or any huge item as it would be difficult to carry them onto the Seabus and then bus home. Since there is no import item, why do I want to go there to buy local stuffs? I could easily go to any Farmer markets all over the places in Vancouver.

This night market is an extension of the existing North Shore Green Market.
They used to be every Friday evenings in the summer in previous year(s) and from their FB page, it sounds like they got permission to be on Thursday as well this year.

The City of North Vancouver is letting us go an extra day at the Shipyards! We will now be Thursday and Friday Nights 5-10pm!
Get ready for a great summer! The Shipyards Night Market is growing with many more great Food Trucks, Artisans and Music

May be it's the city who didn't let them run on Sat and Sun. Or may be the city already has other events lined up for this location on Sat and Sun?

Looks like there will be many food trucks

I will sure check it out on a Friday evening in the summer.
