If you realized the merchant(could be shop or restaurant etc..) charges you $50 less, will you tell them and pay the right price?
For me, if it's small shop or family owned store, I will pay the right amount. But if big chain store...I will just leave it. Probably the cashier needs to suck up the mistake but I guess people "should" be responsible for mistakes....and be careful next time...Big cooperation probably "ok" to "lose" that $50 but it means more for the smaller merchant.
Would you feel bad about "cheating" the store for not reporting their mistake? Or feel perfectly fine as it's "their" mistake? Or you will just pay the right amount no matter what?作者: B2L2 時間: 2014-7-14 12:33
Not that I could do that every moment, but I believe faith in humanity. Yes, people made mistake (and I made so many mistakes in my life) but I don't agree people should be punished every time.
Imagine the cashier could lost his/her job, or imagine he/she could be upset for a day for her mistakes. If that happened because of me, I don't feel good about that.
