If you are adventurous, you can pop open the battery cover (very careful not to hurt yourself), buy some new Li-Ion battery on DealExtreme and solder them in. Be careful as Li-Ion can explode if short-circuit.
I know there are batteries stores in Vancouver that does the same thing.

I came across a forum, advising a process that may help to re-instate the capacity of battery for lap-top and cell phone.
1. Put the problem battery in the fridge, not freezer, for 2-3 days.
2. Take it out and let it sit with room temperature for 1 or 2 days.
3. Charge the battery again with normal charger.
4. Find out how good is the battery.
In the first place, I have hesitation to do trust this prcedure. But the battery is not working anyway so I tried with my cell phone battery and found it double the time.
