In this photo by Vincent Yu, police officers use their batons to try and disperse pro-democracy protesters outside Hong Kong government headquarters early Monday. The protesters were met by police as they tried to surround the building late Sunday, stepping up their movement for genuine democratic reforms. Protesters said they were trying to force a response from Hong Kong's government as they continue to press their demand to scrap a plan requiring a Beijing-friendly panel to screen candidates for the territory's inaugural leadership elections in 2017.

however, do you expect hk people can get the real democracy while people are going violence, 批鬥同自己不同政見的人,包括父母,朋友 (像文革,是不是?)....

Well said....
When those 垃圾議員 got elected for legislative council, I know HK will be better off not to have real democracy.
Imagine those 垃圾議員 become hk chief exec one day due to real democracy, how are they going to deal with the people who 同自己不同政見的人?
Will they obey the law themselves when they elected?
First law: Every body remains in a state of rest or uniform motion unless it is acted upon by an external unbalanced force.
Not relevant to this pic but I would suggest trying to look at the story (students and cops) from both side and how bias do the majority of those hk media. Imagine that the cops are being provoked by the "STUDENTS" everyday. Some people are even threaten to the cop's family members.
what would you expect?
cops are human, imagine you worked overtime for months, being provoked everyday, own kids got discrimination, and even physical assulted. Will you be able to keep polite and welcome them to disobey the law (法庭已頒布清場令,警察只是執法而已)?
I support HK getting the real democracy (even though I don't think we can get it); however, do you expect hk people can get the real democracy while people are going violence, 批鬥同自己不同政見的人,包括父母,朋友 (像文革,是不是?)and with all biased media (either pro-government or pro-protesting)
