The Celeron 900 EEEPC 900 is still slow. The Atom ones will be out hopefully in June and July, it's worth the wait.

Also, HP is shipping the Mini-Note 2133 now. Spec and material is better than the EEE (metal vs. plastic).

HP one is even slower then the eeePC

the eeePC 901 (Atom) will go for at least 650 USD

My wife bought one .. I dont know what the heck . so small ..

I dont really know how to use .. but she said it is so simple .. even her dumb husband should know how to use wor ..

The HP 2133 is using the VIA C7-M, it's not the fastest out there, but it has longer run time than the Celeron-M. Unfortunately, running Vista as default OS is probably the only thing that makes it a deal breaker.

The Atom is slower than the Celeron-M 900Mhz, as the synthetic benchmark is only single threaded. The Atom should excel when in multi-threaded enviroment (Vista). On the other hand, VIA's Isaiah CPU is already killing the Atom and Celeron-M. HP should probably be using it on the next Mini-Note.

If I am going to get one of these UMPC, I will pick the HP one.
