As far as I know, none of my previous car has cabin filter. However, I just chnage my Subaru Cabin filter at close to 30,000 miles. Man it's very dirty.
So, I recommend all of you to consider changing it, since it is usually not part of the regular service item throught the dealership or shops.

those things should last for quite a while unless it's a really small small one...
my last car, it was a huge one, 2x the size of my engine air filter so I didn't have to replace it at all for the life of the car...but I think they should be done at around 100k km
I drive with wondows open and vents off so it doesn't really matter lor作者: chobit 時間: 2008-6-18 18:14
I did a google search for quite a few cars. It looks like alot of the old cars don't have them, and for many who do, the filter gets very dirty at around 20,000 miles. So, I suppose it is a good idea to do a search in google for your own car. Just type in "1999 Accord cabin filter" for example.
Personally, I rather breath fresh air than..... Afterall, the filter at ebay is only $12, and it only takes 10-15mins to replace it.
