Earlier this morning, Environment Canada issued a weather alert for snow later this afternoon in the Lower Mainland.
But colder than expected weather resulted in a decent-size dump of snow in the latter part of the morning commute.
The photo above shows what it was like on West Broadway around 10:30 a.m.
In the meantime, TransLink says passengers can expect delays on the Canada and Expo lines until the end of service tonight.
There are also delays for the following routes: 10 (Granville/Downtown), 16 (Arbutus/29th Ave.), 25 )Brentwood/UBC), 33 (29 Ave./UBC), 49 (Metrotown/Dunbar Loop/UBC), 22 (Knight/Downtown), 100 (22 St. Station/Marpole Loop), and 99 (UBC/Commercial-Broadway).
Other bus routes have had service changes or detours. For more information, check theTransLink website.
