I go to Saffron on Kingsway near Metrotown, the food are
generally good, except the salad is a bit weird.

My Indian coworker strongly recommends "Original Tandoori" on Canada Way in Burnaby. They have a huge menu and lots of brown people are there. I guess, this is considered a traditional one? Personally, I didn't like the butter chicken and naan that this place served (my must-order dish). The lamb curry was ok, nothing spectacular, I didn't like the chicken tandoori either.
I prefer my favorite Indian take-out place on Knight and 49th. (Papa Dave's) Their butter chicken is awesome, and it's only $9.50 incl tax. I can't wait to go there again. I need to stress, it is not a restaurant, just a take out place. If you are standing in there for more than a minute, you will smell! The naan isn't the best but it's definitely good value.
There is also this restaurant in West Van that I went to. The name is Handi, pretty good... I really enjoy my drink, Mango Lassi there.作者: myversa 時間: 2008-10-29 13:12

Actually I prefer Malaysian or Thai curries because they are more
sophisiticated, but also much more fattening due to the amount of

I've tried many places for butter chicken...and the best place i can remember is on 4th, 2nd floor. I went with my Indian Ethnography class (yeah, I took a year-long course on India in Uni) and our prof bought us there to taste traditional indian food. I don't remember what it's called...its on 4th, close to Burrard, on the 2nd floor and it's on the corner.
