Hmm I went to dinehere to double check if chambar is nearby
and the first of the latest entries, I found this:

Why eat there when you can already buy the simple-to-prepare products from major Asian supermarket?

I don't understand why I need to write 300 characters, this is just dumb. Oh, I still don't have 300 characters. Why? So how many have I typed? would it kill dinerhere to include a character counter?

I believe this is you?
So do you mean you think this restaurant is good or do you actually think its not worth the money?

I personally think primataste is good for quick bite before shows or movie.
I like the dark soy sauce. If you know where to buy a bottle of that, can you let me know!?

heehee.. yes, that was me.

What I added there in dinehere is true.  You can cook it yourself, but in your situation, you wouldn't cook before the concert in the middle of the street right?   So paying them to have the food prepared for you is a service that is worth paying.  Just don't go there when you have the time to cook the food they serve at home.

yes.

Pricey, because it is not a "up-dup" cafe offering Asian food in Richmond or on Kingsway!  This is downtown ppl! with nice seats and stuff!

That's Mee goreng. Tasty but on the greasy side.
I like their laksa tho.

Comeon, many Asian foods are high class cuisine, and you should be prepared to pay accordingly.
