Anyone taken Spanish 102 distant ed. at SFU before?
Planning to take it next semester, and just wondering if I would need a tutor or not. I've never had any experience with Spanish by the way. Any comments or suggestions would be great, thanks!
why do you want to take a language course in a university?
i think it's not the best way to learn a language.
Actually I was having trouble finding an elective, not really because I wanted to learn Spanish.
Some of my friends said German is much easier than Spanish. But if you are a total beginner, maybe it is better for you to take it in a classroom environment.
i took that course in sfu.
90% of the classmates are 40+ married women.
but the instructor knows how to get the class interact, that's how you learn the oral part. i personally don't prefer language course in distance ed. format.
if you've never taken any spanish class, be prepared to spend quite a bit of time on this course. i took spanish since grade 9 to 12, so this course is just like a review course for me, but spanish 103....that's a different story.
i personally find that spanish is to learn than english.
