索馬里海盜繼早前騎劫沙特阿拉伯超級油輪「天狼星號」震驚全球後，上周末又在亞丁灣襲擊一艘載有逾千人的豪華郵輪。海盜駕駛兩艘快艇接近郵輪，並向郵輪開火，企圖截停它，但船長急速轉向及全速開行，最終擺脫海盜的追擊。

遇襲的豪華郵輪「航海者號」 (Oceania Nautica)排水量三萬噸，隸屬美國大洋郵輪公司(Oceania Cruises)，正進行為期32天的海上之旅，上月18日由意大利首都羅馬出發，終點站是新加坡。

郵輪共載有684名乘客及400名船員，上周末駛經非洲索馬里對開的亞丁灣時，突然遭海盜駛著兩艘快艇攔截，期間海盜向郵輪多次開火。

幸而槍火並沒有擊中郵輪上任何人，而船長布拉伊奇成為力抗海盜的英雄，全靠他臨危不亂，迅速轉向，以時速23海里全速航行，終於擺脫海盜的追截。據悉兩艘襲擊郵輪的快艇各自載有3至4名海盜。

大洋郵輪公司事後發表聲明，講述箇中的驚險情況。

if 400 staff cannot even fight against 2 small boats of pirates...they are deserved to be robbed

dude, you are funny, they got fire arms, few grenades and few rounds of AK from each pirate can take out 100s of people easily, plus, it is a cruise boat, who wants to die?
