I miss Sushikan too! Also been trying to look for one as good as Sushikan. Heard ppl say 築地 is okay, haven't been there myself, anyone here could tell me if its good/bad?

sushikan was great... but it was too $$$ for the average person to eat there

i remember just eating afternoon snack there with my dad and our bill came to like $3xx, but the fish was so fresh... really worth it

Thank god I tried Sushikan once before they closed..... the food was great but yeah, the price is a bit hard to swallow. However, now even Seto @ Alexandra is asking the same price as Sushikan was asking years ago. I think maybe their food was not that overpriced afterall.

Pretty good, but verrry slow. Everything I went there, will feel full because of lost of appetite due to the wait.

one on 41st (kerrisdale) is called Hachi Sushi.

i personally like Sushi Hachi in richmond for the value. but i haven't been there for a while. you have to be patient to eat there cos it's small and run by the owner/husband and wife.
