Im just wondering if the Ebisu Richmond on ackroyd is the same one as the one on robson downtown?!?!!

but when i went on Ebisu's website, it only showed the Ebisu robson location, no richmond though.

One thing in common is the name & the chinese word symbol.....-__-

i dun think it is very good either... the menus are basically in English and the food serves (target at??) toward the tastes of the White population

its not good in the richmond location? or both in general??
i tried the one on robson, i thot it was pretty good tho....
got to love the beef sashimi~

ive been to both.. theyre REALLY different..
richmond location = served by chinese people, cooked by chinese people
downtown location = served by japanese people, cooked by japanese people

foodwise.. richmond tastes disgusting.. downtown tastes ok...
for the price and menu i wouldnt go to either...
maybe downtown again in a year or two but definitely not richmond... too many better jap restaurants in richmond...

dt store i think is better ba~ the menu is pretty good and the service dou ok geh~ its worth a try if you dun want to guu or sumthing

Ebisu on Robson & Ebisu in Richmond are the same company group.....beside that...we still have Taisho Japanese Restaurant, Burnaby Daimasu, Richmond Daimasu, Kamei Royale, Kamakura!!!! However, we have to serve different kind of customer on different location...so, our menus are different between Richmond Ebisu and Downtown Ebisu!!!
Anyway, we released new SPECIAL menu recently in Ebisu on Robson...so come to try it out!!! Friends!!!

Sorry to say but the food in the Richmond location is just terrible. The Downtown location is far more superior. I like the balcony spot facing Robson.

er $14.99 for dozens of fresh oyster is not expensive gwa... (they actually taste good)

Why don't they give better training to the people in the Richmond store? This will give people the wrong impression that Japanese staff are more capable.
