The Canada Line will open to the public on Monday, August 17, 2009! As this is a fare free day (1pm to 9pm), please be patient and expect large crowds.

Regular fare service will commence the morning of August 18, 2009.

Translink sucks....they're proposing toll on all bridges or collect an extra yearly fee for each car you own.

The only big city suffers is Richmond which is surrounded by water. People living in Burnaby just do not go to Richmond anymore.

I think the skytrain will run after the ceremony which will take place in the morning. That's why they say it's only free for half day.

SO MANY PEOPLE yesterday! lineups were crazy...like 3 hours from the very end? ridiculous!
i went and drove back to richmond, stopping at all the stations to get my passport stamps
but i have to say the airport station was worth visiting. the new observation tower is very nice!

i have all the stamps except for the waterfront one, cuz they cancelled the stamping thing because it was too hectic with the hordes of people
theres actually one more page (of stamps) in the passport thats not in this picture set
