Cats and dogs are not endangered animal like whales.  It's their culture and I don't see any problem as long as the killing method is fast and painless.  And this is from a cat lover who had cats since the day he was born till just 4 years ago.

If you want to protect animals, you should put your focus on Japan eating whales and dolphins or Chinese eating endangered species.  All the cats I had before were picked up from HK street.  They obviously were dumped by irresponsible people and I often see some of them got run by cars or suffered from disease.  Now tell me what is worse?

Heck, have you heard about Tuna is going to be extinct soon?  Shouldn't you protect tunas first if this is the case.  Don't jump on some bandwagon issue because they are cute or romanticized.

I believe legalizing dogs/cats eating will help the Korea gov't to establish laws to protect rights of those animals.  That's why I didn't send out my email.

BTW, by adding the f-words, I am sure you do think your argument is more valid now?  NOT.

I only treat MY PET as friend/family member, not EVERY SINGLE OTHER ANIMAL that I cannot reach.  I adore many other animals too, but it doesn't make me rage over how they should not be eaten by human beings as long as they are not endangered species.  Your point of view makes me wonder how old are you....

I was not trying to get personal.  I just found that his logic is absurd because he doesn't seem to understand what he/she should care about within own ability.  I was thinking his point of view is due to inexperienced with world issues and understanding of the society.  That's why I asked that question.
