Excited, sure la.  It's not everyday you see someone seriously consider using their carrera as a daily drive family car Ma.

And the sign is important, since I have a 3.5 years old boy and a new baby girl coming this Nov.

I think the sign is required when going autocross with them

It's true that my Porsche is not a family car, my previously owned Subaru STi is better.  However, when needing the extra room, I use my wife RDX anyway.

Obviously, I have my reason for the baby signs, and why 911.

my commute to work is actually quite fun and good with very little traffic, so I would like to enjoy my daily drive.  I was originally planning to get a boxster or cayman when my son get old enough to ride safely at the front.  That's when my wife decided to have another kid, so no more cayman or boxster unless I want it as weekend car only.

Well, the leave me little choice but a 911.  Believe it or not, Porsche has been making their own carseats for their 911 for many years.  There are 3 sizes going up from infant seat to booster.

As for the baby signs, it probably looks cool to some husband out there with kids who wish they are on a sport car instead of a corolla, but for those who are single and with no kids, it probably  harder to understand.

Here in Seattle, I can still drive relative fast daily.  U know people go at least 70mph on the hwy.  For me, my comes from the twisty roads and the ramps.  Back to the signs.  It is there to avoid stupid tailgaters and road racing teenagers.  It's my responsibility as a parent to have the baby sign on my car while continue to enjoy my driving.

Driving fast may be fun, I enjoy the handling of a car much more driving within or slightly over the speed limit in the corner or on twisty a lot more.  I know I will be doing some DE and will enjoy the high speed ther, and AutoX will be fun as well.  I will see if I can get some video footage.. Again hope everyone enjoy the pictures here.

The plate bracket I have is called "Show n Go"  I have the manual operated version, since it's lighter, and easier to install.

As for the top, I try to have it open 90% of the time if it's not raining + 9C or above.  I think it's not that bad, since it has heated seat and the heater is very strong.  I just bought some driving gloves today, so that I can drive it at cooler temperture.  Compares this to my previously own 99 Miata, my 997 actually performs very well in high speed + Open top.

I actually drove around all day with the top down on my wife's B-Day (It was like 12-14C), and it was very good even at Hwy speed (We could talk and still listened to music..  at speed over at 70mph at time)  The trick was to put on the windscreen with all windows up.  It felt like I was driving in a car with super large sunroof.

Honestly. People who buy a Porsche doesn't enjoy it's speed on public roads per-say. Let's put it  ...

I used to think the same until I attended a Culture Compentency event provided by my work place.  One of my co-worker actually shared with us how she go discriminated using handicap space when she was young.  In her case, she was born in-mature with 70% of her hearing lost in her whole life.  Othewise, she looks as normal as any of us.  But then if she would to cross the parking lot with her limited hearing.. she could have been killed very easily..!
I then went online and found that there are many types of disabilities that we were not aware.

eg.
Types of conditions that qualify
You may receive disabled parking privileges if you have a disability that limits or impairs your ability to walk and you meet at least one of the following criteria:

You cannot walk 200 feet without stopping to rest.
Your ability to walk is severely limited due to an arthritic, neurological, or orthopedic condition.
You are so severely disabled that you cannot walk without the use of or assistance from a brace, cane, another person, prosthetic device, wheelchair, or other assistive device.
You use portable oxygen.
You are restricted by lung disease to such an extent that forced expiratory respiratory volume when measured by spirometry is less than 1 liter/second or the arterial oxygen tension is less than 60 mm/hg on room air at rest.
You are impaired by cardiovascular disease or cardiac condition to the extent that your functional limitations are classified as Class III or IV under standards accepted by the American Heart Association.
You have a disability resulting from an acute sensitivity to automobile emissions which limits or impairs your ability to walk. Your physician, physician assistant, or advanced registered nurse practitioner must document that the disability is comparable in severity to the others listed above.
You are legally blind and have limited mobility.
You have acute sensitivity to light associated with a form of porphyria that would significantly benefit from a decrease in exposure to light. Porphyria refers to a group of inheritable metabolic disorders in which exposure to light can result in burning, blistering, swelling, and scarring of the skin.

i assume that the driver is mentally handicap.

hehe.. Trust me.. I know all about it.. I read at least 80% english base car seat info for 911..!

As far as I know it's made by Britax, but it's not a direct rebadge, since they have made it fits better behind a 911.

I am currently using a few combination of car seats setup in the back.

The main car seat that fits very well in the back is Britax Roundabout 55 (Just came out this summer).  It fit in the back perfect.

However, for short trip, I am using a booster seat w/o the back, then added a thing call Safe rider travel vest which is a very interesting product.. http://www.safetrafficsystem.com/
The bad thing is it lag side impact protection.

Aiya .. EL, Porsche doesn't make their oen car seat ga ..  they are just rebadge Britax ..

Yeah... I hear you... that sucks..!  My friend and I were visiting a State Park for BBQ last summer, when he was stuck not being able to park his car at the Handicap space because someone w/o permit park his car across the 2/3 handicap parkings.  And his mom is 8x+ years old...!

well, for some yes.
but for others, you can definitely tell that they are NOT handicap. Some of th ...
