actually my wife just got a bubble tea job. It's not hard to find jobs in Vancouver and it's just depending on what kind of job you are looking for.
It's good to gain experience in bubble tea so maybe in the future we can open bubble tea business too.
and like I said, I was very much like you once. I did not have many friends here and I was always alone. Just have confidence on yourself and grab every opportunities as you can so you can know more people.
I think what you did wrong was that you do not even have any idea what you want to do to start with. My wife was picky to choose job but when she decided that she wanted to work for bbt place, she went for it and changed her resume so it is specific to that job.
what do you mean?
i apply jobs that are 10 dollars and up
so what

and you are complaining you cannot find jobs...
sigh... sometimes you can learn from low pay job and work its way to management. Like one of my friends worked as counter in DQ and now he is the manager of the DQ restaurant.
study might be a better option for him but it costs money and time.
Tiffiant, I am only sharing my own experience with you. My wife is currently studying the Aromatherapy and it was quite expensive. She wanted to improve herself too. However, in the mean time she also went to bubble tea place to work. Even it was a min. wage job, my wife like to mix drink and in the future, we might open our own tea place or something. A goal to work for so we do not mind it's only min. wage job.
If you do not get any reply from your interview, that could mean that your resume did not target the job you applied for. For the bubble tea place, I rewrote my wife's resume within 10 minutes and focus it on drink industry and wola, she got the job.
You cannot write one resume and mail to everyone with the same resume. I own a restaurant and I have received other's resume too.
