No matter you did it intentionally or unintentionally, the fact was that you did speeding.  How could the judge determines if you did it intentionally or not.  Of course people will always say he did it unintentionally.

you admit you are wrong no matter what.  If you admit it and said this is your first time, you can plead with judge to give you some discount off the fines.
