What he said was kind of truth: which country has the most population does not mean the success for that country.  People within that country have to united and start to do learn to not to do things that would make shame of their country.

Depends on what do you mean by Success.  The success of a city doesn't mean only $.   It is all kind of aspects.  I'm not saying HK is not success. It is.  However, is it the "MOST"?  ...
