How many days?

If just for short trip, you can go to harrison hot spring, or squamish or whister or zoo (nothing there to see...)

If you want a long trip, banff, see the northen lights.

if you want a longer trip, go to montreal, toronto.

Emu... lots of fun for a day trip

It's not good idea to go there during winter.  Couple years ago I went there for Christmas and every animal was hiding or hibernating inside their cave home...
