I completely agree with fibbi's comment.  

The admin can do anything he wants, if some members don't like the rules, then they can leave.  He can be biased, unfair, unreasonable, etc but I see no problem in that at all since it is his forum.

I don't see any problems with how the admin runs LYK since it is reasonable and fair in my point of view.  If anyone thinks they can run a forum better and have some extra time, then he or she can start a new forum.

The more contributable members to the forum will obviously be given a bit more leeway when it comes to punishment for breaking a rule.
