No la... my family already predicted that Starbucks will slow down or run into troubles a few years back when it was at its peak and rapidly continue to expand.

it is not how good we know about the busienss, it is just because we did not believe in the way and the speed it expanded its business.

Aberdeen Center ripe off tenant

A friend of mine had a small shop at Aberdeen last year. However, it was a sad experience. He had to give it all up less than a year in business.

The most troublesome part was the lease contract. However, I don't know how he resolved it at last since he returned to Taiwan already and haven't talked to him since.

I passed by the store today and found it was already closed down. Just want to get the last cup of coffee from it. Too bad, didn't make it.

When was its last day? How much do you expect to sell that cup of coffee?

If Fairchild finds a capable and specialized in mall management and development company, maybe they can change the current situation of Aberdeen.

Do you mean the present management is not professional?
The management company is of the same group.

What do you think? Do you think it is professional?

I know it is under the same group. Maybe it has managed the property (the mall) well but I don’t think it has done a good job on developing the mall.

Do you think it has done a good job on market positing, anchor store establishment, tenant selection, mall area arrangement, mall promotion, and other aspects? How would it compete with other malls in Richmond?

Hong Kong has accumulated so rich experience it mall development. Shouldn’t Fairchild hire someone from Hong Kong and help them out? One of my family friends actually working for the biggest real state development groups in Hong Kong. But I don’t think he will work for Fairchild.
