If what the news said is true, I wish couple pavilions would shut down for a week and make headline news on every Chinese news paper. I believe it will be a good opportunity for a nationwide 國民教育.

Lik, what is the problem with you?

Do you understand english?  "If what the news aid is true" is the condition for what I said after it, but not a statement to deny the news.

It looks like you need to upgrade your English.

And while you're at it, you might as well try to upgrade your logic a bit. It shouldn't be hard to see any improvement since yours is so poor to begin with~  ...

I agree with you that my strength is never on logic. Therefore, when I express my opinions, I always state my points clearly and back up with facts and evidences while you back up your statements with “fancy” logics instead of facts and evidences. That is the reason you always failed to challenge me and defended yourself.

But by having the conditional clause there, it is plainly obvious to anyone with any sort of common sense that you are questioning the truth of the news report, that you are suggesting it might be false. And that is what I was mocking and ridiculing you about....

Using conditional clause is a very common way and style in English expression. If your understanding of the usage of conditional clause is “questioning” something, I would seriously recommend you to upgrade your English since you would very likely cause a lot of misunderstandings when you communicate with people in English.

Borrowing a page from you, I'm gonna say this -- just answer me plainly and simply -- a "yes" or a "no" would suffice. Do you think the news is true?...

Is this news true or not? Honestly, I don’t know. However, it doesn’t matter. The important point is that I had made my position very clear – if it is true, I wish it can make headlines on every Chinese news paper and it can be beneficial to China as an opportunity for a nationwide 國民教育. Haven’t I made myself clear? Do I need to restate it in Chinese instead of English?

What should I say to you, 羊仔?

It doesn’t worth my time to talk to a 不學無術的白丁.

If China didn’t learn from the history and its painful sufferings in the past, how would it be able to achieve the position it is at right now?
