There is a Mac version of these calls.

I got a call dialing at work, it just happened I was doing some data recovery with Ubuntu LiveCD on my test machine. They asked me to download Logmein Hamachi and I just played along.. then when they logged into my computer, they have no idea how to "fix" it and poking at different menus. I ran my outgoing logs from my switch and talked to them with my fake Indian accent, "hello, this is calling from Microsoft, I detect your IP address x.x.x.x has a malware coming from an active remote connection... can you please verify that??"
