About TVB, it's a tough one just like Apple and Samsung, only time will tell. My bet is, TVB will keep modifying their stream to make it difficult. Just like lately, I found that TVB has modified myTVB site to sniff out any DNS redirect service. Meaning I can only stream TVB via VPN which is slow (TVB is slow anyways).

Let's keep our finger cross that the TVPad is not like PPTV, where it ended up become a device to stream China based show.

EDIT: TVB is working on UnoDNS again, slow as usual.. weird.

Free stuff for sure no, but keep in mind that you can buy Hulu and Netflix US gift card at least 15% less than retail on eBay, it's a good way to pay for the service without using credit card.

Even for Hulu and Netflix, their biggest restriction is that the newest TV shows can only be broadcast the day after, so if you are following something, you either torrent it or wait a day.
