I'm kinda worry about the custom too, like I didn't go back to Canada for almost 2 years, and I'm planning to go back maybe this summer.  2 years is a pretty long time, so I'm afraid they will ask so tons of questions.... Well i'm working HK, and I did have my accountant in Canada to help me report my income in HK, and I did pay tax to Canada's gov't.  So just wondering, should I say the truth ne? I'm afraid they'll ask more and more.... PLUS, about that $750 limit,,, for sure over it la,, dunno if they'll open my lugage to check tim.... so scare...
My friends and family always said Canada D custom make you have a bad impression, first person you see when you arrive Canada, and they're being so cool and 'black face',, even you're just a visitor.... Sometime i really wanna complaint ne, it's okay for them to ask question, but they can ask it in a friendly way, or at least have some smile lor...

There is nothing to be afraid of. If you have already report everything properly (filing your oversea incoming to revenue canada) you can just tell them the truth. Customs are trainned to read ppl if ...

Ya, i reported all my oversea income, the accountant helped me do that already, so I guess I'll just I work in HK lor.... but then I'm planning to ask my auntie to bring back my laptop, camera, bags stuff, since they're visitor, they don't need to report it ba... can just say the laptop is for personal use...(it's old anyway)..., so I can report lesss, and pay less GST/PST (in case they really check me)..
