i was tempted to try out their desserts at whole foods. i particularly like to try new york style cheesecakes at different places. but it's $8.99 a piece which is expensive. i didn't buy any. however i was more impressed with their cooked-food sections. they look yummy. about $2.19/100g

i was at the oakridge food court the other day, and there are pastries and desserts (cakes) there too. that store is located in the middle. they have new york style cheesecake too in very similar size (if not the same size as whole foods!) and it costs $4.99 a piece if i remember correctly.

That's the same bakery in Granville Island. I like their NY and one called apple crumble cheesecake. (warning.. pretty sweet for those who likes non-sweet Asian style dessert)

other than that ny cheesecake, i also ordered the scottish eccles, and the cinnamon roll. the scottish eccles was good. i like raison. i've always loved cinnamon roll. but that one was more like a cinnamon "disc" to me. so hard.
