i don't know much about white day. but be careful about the 14 hour wedding day package part. make sure you check with them how many photographers will be there on your wedding day. i assume they have 2?

i think the other lyk posts about the $1500 for 14 hrs with 2 photographers is just the photo. nothing else. where as yours includes the gowns and makeup and stuff.

i think i would compromise. even if you pay more, you can't guarantee it'll be "perfect." if you do decide to go with the $5k package over the $1500 package, you will expect more from $5k for sure. but is it worth the money??? well... it's hard to say. you will need to do your research.

a lot of the pre-wedding packages include wedding gown and 1 evening gown (you can check if they will allow you to swap the evening gown for a tux if you have your own evening gown) for the wedding day as well. so if you have that kind of pre-wedding package, and you pick the $1500 wedding day photo (no album nor dvd), then you'll have to look for hair and makeup for your wedding day separately. hair and makeup for the bride only will cost you like $200-$400. so that can be a big difference.

try to save where you can. a few hundred dollars here and there will easily add up a few thousand dollars....
