a neighbor's cat used to come to my house very often too. almost every second night. s/he sits at the front porch quietly at night. but quickly runs away when we open the door. and never ate/drank food/water...

the cat never showed up again after a few weeks. i wonder what happen

The thought of helping this cat to turn to his/her home is a good idea. However, I have concerns about posting this on craigslist. How to determine the real/true ownership of the person who responses to the posting?

There should be a better method than craigslist
