How about the LED backlit LCD TV?

plasma is good for movie, rich in color, but it needs to be in dark area.  lcd/led is good for sports, super fast moving objects.  led has deeper black, better in colors.  but if you watch the old vcr ...

My CRT is still working. I am waiting for LED LCD price to go down. I don't watch fairchild and don't have VRC any more... so that's not a concern for me.

You like LED light bulbs so much, that you bashed Hong Kong government for recommending CFL. Why don't you just buy a LED TV? I guess you have all LED lights in you home, right?

Did you check out LED LCD TVs? (I tho we are talking about TVs here)
I saw side by side comparison at Vision and I really like the pictures from the LED LCD TV. That's why I decided to wait even longer.

Why wait? There is always something new. Just buy now if you need it. Even if you do not watch Fairchild, you should buy for watching movies. Fairchild does not even have HD yet.

I said to wait cos..
1) my CRT works fine
2) LED LCD TVs are still pretty expensive. So I decide to wait for this new tech to be adapted. Then the price will be more reasonable.

for LED TV ... it started with backlid, then edge lid (so the frame is thinner) but then I think Samsung is switching back to backlid due to the uneven lid problems.

I'm rather curious about which br ...
