It's very hard to find concrete townhouse that is not part of a high rise condo project.
if it exist and price and everything is the same, I pick concrete standalone townhouse.
But if townhouse is just the ground level of a high rise condo, I rather stay at a higher level of the condo. (think about what will end up in your garden if any of the 10 or 20 floor neighours is not being considerate)

For now, I pick condo or a big jump to a house. I don't think I can stand living in a woodframe townhouse after my bad experience with 1 weird neighbour. tho he was the one who moved out after unsuccessful complain of me and his other side neighbours and attacking our cats. (both sides next to him)

I've lived in both and I would say townhouse for me. I don't like taking long elevator rides every morning and I wont use the condo's facilities anyway. sko 發表於 2010-8-16 04:07 PM

Haha I am the same as you for elevator rides.
I HATE elevator rides. So I struggled A LOT before I decided to stay at a condo.
I feel alright with the ride at home now but.... I still feel nervous when I go to other condos.
