i am not very good either... I walked around CWB in HK for the whole afternoon with my friend. She was buying clothes... I was just looking... I am usually lost when there are so many things and shops around me...
And I don't really know what style to get... so I stick with simple things... (jeans and t-shirts @@)
My friend is the "ying" style, I am not that... And I can't do "pretty pretty cute lady style" neither...

every time I need to go to a dinner banquet, I was so head scratching to buy the dress....
One year, I actually wore the SAME dress to 4 or 5 weddings... Cos I don't want to go throught the process of buying more dresses.

I was lucky this time, I need to get a dress for attending my friend's wedding in HK. And the first dress that I tried was OK. So, I just bought it. My friend is happy with it too. It blend well with the other bridesmaids' dresses.

I am an IT girl... It's sometimes hard to judge getting a $150 dress vs... a $150 tripod. And things like: "that purse is $250!!! wah... I can get a new lense or 1/4 of new hardwood floor for the sitting room"
I don't like to spend too much on clothes neither. I did a few times (>$400 boots... ) I totally regrat that I spent that kind of money lor.  vs some girls feel good after shopping.

but my friend's 姊妹 didn't custom made dresses. We all bought our own in the similar colour tone. And 3 of the girls actually got them from a "not famous yet" local designer. So their dresses are very "ying". Others got theirs from brandname stores. So lucky that mine blend in.

yeah same for me. $200 for a jacket is OK but not for any top.

I hate trying on clothes... I usually look bad and got depressed after clothes shopping... May be cos I usually pick the wrong thing to try. @@

Hey 嘉嘉, sounds like a good, stylish leather jacket may work for you (at least for early fall and for spring) and it should last very long.

I do have a leather jacket but I never want to wear it... cos I don't want to look "ying" with my stupid face.

i found jeans the most comfortable thing on earth. I feel "naked" wearing anything else... even dress pants...
