Since I live in an apartment and don't really want to have warm composting, I will start collecting and bringing organic garbage to my parents' place for composting.
They have been doing that for years with good fertilizer for their garden.
I guess the next thing i can do is cycling/walking. And I will do that more.

Just wondering how raising chicken in the backyard can contribute to a greener environment?

cos that's 0 mile food for the eggs. no carbon foot print to transport eggs from far away to supermarket then to you home.

That's cool!
I finally applied for bus pass and will get it in Jan. So busing to and from work unless I have to carry some heavy load back home.
