有冇試吓蕃薯天婦羅

We had the assorted tempura. It's pretty good not the best in town but I would order it again.
I got some new pictures but don't have time to post it up yet.

隔離嗰間油雞洪
又有冇人試過

yes. I like their "siu choi" but don't order 油雞 cos of the name I prefer their BBQ duck or BBQ crispy pork more than their 油雞.
I think they were better before tho. I used to REALLY like their steam salted fish meat patty but it's not as good any more. I think they used better salted fish a year ago. (not the ONLY salty one) I still order their salty fish diced chicken tofu in clay pot there but not the patty any more.
I don't go very often now, only go when I crave for Cantonese food which doesn't happen a lot

很多人說Hachi好D,甘即係唔使試啦!
emailyahoo 發表於 2010-12-11 10:26 PM

For me the two restaurants serve different purpose.
Hachi's sushi is for sure better but Kiriri has a lot more selection on cooked food. Also since it's not so popular yet, we can still pop in for a quick dinner if we just want a simple grill fish or katsudon.
Another reason is Hachi doesn't open for lunch! So if you want decent Japanese for lunch, Kiriri is my choice now.

Yeah I saw the black cod combo and it looked a lot smaller than my saba. But I guess black cod is more expnsive than saba or sama.
If you cannot find parking in the tiny strip mall, you can park across the road in the bigger parking lot which is empty most of the time....

how does it compare to Ajisai in Kerrisdale?
tsumorichisato 發表於 2010-12-14 03:27 PM

I think Ajisai has better sushi. (regular menu)
This place has more "special dishes".
I almost gave up on Ajisai because it was ALWAYS busy when I tried to go. I seldom order cooked food at Ajisai so I cannot compare to that in Kiriri.
