[其他飲食] Singapore Food in Crystal Mall

I found some very good Singapore Food in the Crystal Mall Food Court.
I usually buy the HK style food in Crystal mall but one day I smell some very good Curry. So I decide to try. I work around Burnaby area.

But I first try the Hai Nan Chicken because it is safer. Taste very local Singapore style.
Not free range chicken but the meat is not over cooked like the others. Rice is the right amount of oil.
Mix well between normal rice and sticky rice too. cost $5.50

Next day I try the "Meat Bone Tea". The smell and taste is almost exactly the one I tasted in Singapore "Lo Pa San" years ago. However the meat is not as soft as I expected. May be not cooked for a long time. And the soup will be a little strong for some people. cost $5.95

And then I go for "Singapore Style Pork Rib with rice" taste like Chinese King Do Bone. It taste good (sweet+sour) but because it taste like King Do Bone, so it is a bit no surprise for me. cost $5~ forget

I want to try curry chicken today but I am coughing these days so I order the Hai Nan Chicken again. I bring a friend today and he likes it too. I see some old customers order Singapore Thick Rice Noodle. I guess it should be good too.

Sorry no pictures and all text is pretty boring and this is the first time I post. Let me know what you think.

Not too many people post good restaurants these days and some old links are remove. Where are you guys come on?

Wow I didn't expect there are quite a number of replies! I usually just read, don't usually post.

Yes I know sometimes people think posting are just owner selling. Especially sometimes I try some restaurant I know it is really bad but still people say it's really good, then I suspect.

But I don't know how to write to make it more objective. May be I should never put name (I actually didn't pay attention to the name). May be I should take away the cost also. If people also think it is good, then more people will add in more comments. If there is an online 蔡瀾 (can't type Chinese, have to look it up) who we trusted and can verify all the places for us, it would be great My taste could be subjective too, and I love eating Chicken in general. That's okay, if somebody tried and likes it I would be happy.

Oh Sorry I forget to mention I smell curry because somebody order curry that day so I smell it, not because they make a big pot so I smell it.

I remember Loyaukee used to have 2 links that have a big list of restaurant inside and some comments inside. Does anyone know if they are still around? Sometimes when I run out of idea, will go to take a look.

I only tried a few Singapore Restaurant in Richmond Patermoon, KimLoon and Coconut House, also there is a small one on Broadway (long time ago, not sure if still exist, they have no bone Sun Chicken). If anyone have any recommendation, please let me know. Thanks!

Not that I am a homesick Singaporian but I had a chance to work there for a few weeks and tried some authentic Singapore food. Actually it tastes good but they put tons of MSG there (to be fair, I go to the cheap food court style one, not expensive restaurant)
