Finally tried this place! Went once and found them closed. So funny, the sign on the door shows "Thurs - Mon". I've to think for awhile to realize that they're closed on Tues and Wed.

I ordered the pork soup miso with the egg extra. Others find the miso soup base a bit salty but I didn't because the egg is saltier! By the time I finished the egg, my taste buds must have adjusted to the level of saltiness so I didn't find the soup salty anymore...

The soup, as expected (since it's pork based) is fatty. I like the noodles though. I also like the wedge of seaweed but I supposed it's pretty standard.

We arrived before 12 and we had to wait for 10mins. It was all full and there were actually ppl paying at 12noon. When did they start their meals?

The final verdict is: it's loaded with MSG! My tongue feels numb. I chuck down a bottle of "pear almond tea" and i'm still thirsty. Will I go back again? Probably if my friends want to go. I prob won't go if I wanted something to eat though. I used to like the one on the ground floor of Pacific Plaza (a lonnnng time ago) and the one on Granville & 70's (a loonnnng time ago).
